AI Chatbot Development — there's one on this page. It's ours.
Most enquiries that go unanswered are not lost to a competitor with better marketing. They are lost to whoever replied first. A well-built chatbot answers the common questions, qualifies the person, and captures their details at 11pm on a Saturday — then hands off cleanly instead of pretending it can close the deal.
Bin Bash Computing builds custom AI chatbots for local business websites — trained on the business's own services, pricing rules and policies, so the bot answers real questions and qualifies visitors instead of running a scripted menu. Conversations can be delivered to the owner's phone instantly via WhatsApp or Telegram.
What you actually get
Named deliverables, not categories. If we can't describe it, we shouldn't be billing for it.
Trained on your actual business
Services in the words your customers use, service area, pricing structure, qualifications, availability, and — just as importantly — what you do NOT do, so it stops wasted conversations early.
Guardrails that hold under pressure
Explicit rules against quoting prices it cannot stand behind, promising timelines, or inventing anything. We test these adversarially, including multi-turn pressure, before it goes live. A bot that confidently invents a number creates work you have to walk back.
Handoff designed properly
It recognises its limits, says so plainly, collects contact details before the conversation ends, and passes the transcript to you so the customer never repeats themselves.
Lead capture wired to where you actually look
Details land in your inbox, CRM, or as an instant phone push — not in a dashboard you check weekly.
Built without slowing your site
No 300KB third-party widget. We build lightweight and hosted on your own infrastructure, because a slow site undermines the SEO work sitting next to it.
Honest labelling
It says it is a bot and always offers a route to a person. People are fine talking to a bot and hostile about being tricked.
Is this right for you?
We'd rather tell you now than three months into a retainer.
A good fit if
- You get enquiries outside working hours, or across time zones
- The same handful of questions come up constantly
- You already have traffic that is not converting
- Someone can act on a qualified lead within a day
Not a fit if
- Almost nobody visits your site yet — fix visibility first, a bot has nothing to work with
- You want it to replace your team rather than triage for them
- Your pricing is too situational to describe even in ranges
- You want it to close sales unattended
A working chatbot typically takes one to two weeks: gathering what it needs to know is the slow part, not the build. Expect a round of tuning after launch once you see what people actually ask, which is rarely what you predicted.
A one-off build plus a small monthly cost for the model API and hosting. Running costs are usually a few dollars a month at local-business volume — the model calls themselves are inexpensive.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see one working?
Yes — the assistant in the corner of this page. It runs on our own infrastructure, it will refuse to quote you a price, and it will tell you plainly that we have no published client case studies yet. That is deliberate: it is built to the same rules we would build yours to.
Will it make things up?
Any language model can. The mitigation is constraint rather than hope: a tightly scoped prompt, low temperature, explicit refusals on prices and promises, and adversarial testing before launch. Ours is tested against roleplay bypasses and multi-turn pressure, not just happy-path questions.
How is this different from the chat widget my website builder includes?
Most bundled widgets are decision trees following a fixed script — they break the moment someone phrases things unexpectedly, which is most of the time. A model-backed bot handles unfamiliar phrasing, which is the whole point.
What happens when it cannot answer?
It says so and offers to take a message or connect a human — it does not guess. Confident wrong answers about pricing or availability are worse than no answer, because they create expectations someone then has to walk back.
Will it slow my site down?
Not the way we build it. Hosted chat widgets commonly ship 200-400KB of third-party JavaScript on every page load. Ours adds a few kilobytes inline and no external requests, which matters when the same site is trying to rank.
